Enhanced Nutrient Management Planning
Aim: Use technology/information to improve nutrient management planning and application to better balance pH and P+K indices
Action on farm:
Work with an agronomist to identify areas for improved nutrient management planning on farm
If appropriate utilise methods and technologies such as:
GPS soil testing for pH, P & K
Variable rate fertiliser and lime application to correct pH and better utilise fertilisers for reduced inputs and improve crop production
Low emission slurry spreading equipment (LESSE)
Soil mapping at the individual field level to allow for tailored application approached
GPS application systems
Slurry separation
